WHAT IS ART THERAPY

Art therapy is a clinical psychotherapeutic practice that uses art making to explore, communicate, and find emotional health and wellbeing. When you engage in art therapy you are working with a licensed art therapist to process through various emotions and situations that need to be explored. When partaking in art therapy at The Art Therapy Way you will be working with our founder and art therapist, Kendyl Arden. Click below to learn more about Kendyl's experience and orientation within the field.

THE ART THERAPY WAY TRAINING PROGRAM

Engage in our specialized trauma training sessions conducted in a supportive and nurturing environment. Our therapeutic art trauma trainings aim to help organizations learn about trauma-informed care and the profound impact that the arts can have in healing and resilience. These trainings do not teach participants how to be an art therapist, but instead equip organizations in using art as a form of healing, empowerment, and self-discovery to the populations that they serve.
